The bar is 180m² including its outdoor drinking area that looks out over the beach and Mediterranean Sea. The Pub has a kitchen, store room, a cold room and office. It was originally built by Guinness Pub Company and is the only Official Irish Pub on this side of the coast.
It is known best as an Irish Sports pub and restaurant. The bar gets a lot of business from locals and golf parties during the winter season. It is situated 100m from the most popular Hotel complexes in Benalmadena, which has an 80% occupancy rate all year round.

With 61,383 inhabitants according to the INE census of 2010, Benalmádena is the eighth most populous municipality in the province and the third largest metropolitan area behind Málaga and Torremolinos. The population is concentrated in three main centers: Benalmadena Pueblo, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmádena Costa, although the high urban growth and demographic tends to unify the three cores.
